I was teaching Taira Bunkai today. When I said this was not practice. This was a lesson and you needed to go and practice outside class to truly practice and develop the skills being taught in today’s lesson!! The look on my students was priceless, they thought this was practice!! I said no this was a lesson; skill comes from how much time and effort they would put into this simple drill! There is never enough time in class!
